Age Concern Hythe is a busy Day-Care Centre providing much needed services to older people in the local community.

For many, this practical and social support becomes a much valued part of everyday life but for some it is a vital element allowing them to maintain an independent life at home rather than seeking some form of residential accommodation.

THE CENTRE IS OPEN MONDAY – FRIDAY 9AM – 3.30PM

Age Concern benefits the older people of Hythe by maintaining independence. It provides a Centre where the elderly can meet to socialize with others and realise that they are not alone. They meet others to discuss issues and can share them with someone who is able to provide a solution. This promotes self worth and importance.
           
We show the older people of Hythe they count, and that they are important in today’s society.
                                   
We promote services that provide and help the elderly of Hythe to have the best quality of life, to live their life to the full and assist them to be able to stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
                                   
We count each person as an individual.
